Paris is not only known for its cathedrals, but its castles as well. Versailles est so big and its grounds so vast that it's almost absurd. Started by Louis XIII, built by Louis XIV, and continued by Louis XV, this palace has immense bedrooms, balconies, and gardens. The rooms of this palace are rather well known: the Hall of Mirrors, the salons of Venus, Mars, etc., and the suites of the King and Queen.
